Rob Goldberg - Founder & CEO

Rob has spent many years building ideas into companies at the connection point where the business side of the creative world meets the creative side of the business world. He is an entrepreneur by default, by design and by delovely. Rob is currently the Founder and CEO of Fresno Unlimited. Prior to the creation of Fresno Unlimited, Rob was the GM of Topps Digital Services, a business unit that was created when he sold the company he founded, GMG Entertainment, to The Topps Company in 2011. Prior to GMG Entertainment, Rob was the CEO of Gold Marketing Group, an entertainment marketing firm, and spent 7 years as an executive growing LAUNCH Media before it was sold to Yahoo! and became Yahoo! Music. Rob’s entrepreneurial spirit began early when at age 22 he was founder and CEO of the llizwe Trading Company, a youth-focused footwear and apparel company based in Cape Town, South Africa. Rob has a B.A. in English/Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin Madison, which qualified him to be a bartender.

 

Jean-Paul Colaco - Revenue & Media

Jean-Paul is the President, Revenue and Media, Fresno Unlimited Inc., a digital media and technology start-up using data and insights to reinvent the creation of premium video content and identification of relevant audiences. He previously was Chief Revenue Officer for Jaunt LLC, a global cinematic virtual reality company. Prior to this, Jean-Paul was Senior Vice President of Advertising, Content and Business Development at Vessel LLC, Senior Vice-President, Advertising for Hulu from 2007-2013 and served for 12 years in various senior positions at The Walt Disney Company including Senior Vice President, Corporate Business Development and President of Radio Disney. Jean-Paul holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BA in Economics and an HBA in Business from the Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario.

 

Grant Gibson - Content Science

Grant has spent the past 17 years in the media business, connecting audiences and content through data. He was most recently Head of Programming at AwesomenessTV, where he oversaw cross-platform content strategy, audience development, and channel operations. He came to AwesomenessTV as part of the Big Frame acquisition in 2014, where he was employee No. 1 and served as Head of Audience Development. Previously, Grant was Director, Strategy & Finance at ArcLight Cinemas where he helped shape the rollout strategy for the high-end movie theater’s growth from a single location to a national chain. Before that, Grant was Manager, Business Development at Twentieth Century Fox Filmed Entertainment Group, where he helped drive the studios VOD initiative. Grant received his bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He lives on the outskirts of Los Angeles with his wife and two children; no dog yet, but rumors abound.

 

Tim Mohn - Technology

Tim is a 5 time entrepreneur. Most recently he was the CTO of Fullscreen (acq. AT&T/Otter Media), and previous to that worked as a Sr Executive at Comcast, TimeWarner, HBO (where he was the co-creator of HBOGO), NBCUniversal, and several startups in the video, crypto, data science, and healthcare spaces. He holds a few patents and is an active angel investor. Tim is a Tisch Fellow, and graduated from NYU where he learned to bend light, wires, and fiber, with an MS, Computer Science.

 

Mohan Nadig - Legal

Don’t let his youthful appearance fool you: Mohan has years of experience as a law firm lawyer and in-house counsel, most recently in the tech and media space. Initially trained as a finance and security lawyer on the mean streets (and basement printing rooms) of New York, he then practiced law in Tokyo for over seven years before landing in sunny Santa Monica. Prior to Fresno, Mohan spent six years at Hulu, where he started out as the lawyer for Hulu Japan and then worked on the legal team at Hulu in the US. Mohan has a B.A. in Economics & East Asian Studies from NYU and a J.D. from NYU School of Law, which qualify him to order off-menu at sushi restaurants and say things like “force majeure” with a straight face.

 

Chris Preston - Finance

Chris has more than a decade of experience running finance and accounting for digital media businesses. Prior to joining Fresno, Chris held senior finance roles at Whalerock Industries, Dashbox (acq. FilmTrack), DECA (now KinCommunity) and others. Chris also served as Finance Manager for the Entertainment and News divisions of Yahoo! Inc. Before Yahoo!, Chris worked in a variety of roles and companies ranging from financial analysis and forensic accounting to marketing and business development. Chris received his BA in Political Science and Mass Communication from the University of California at Berkeley, and his MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

 

Meredith Rodriguez - Sales

Meredith is the VP, West Coast Sales and Interactive Marketing. Prior to joining Fresno, Meredith was in the Partnerships team at Pinterest, joining as the first employee in Los Angeles, responsible for building their presence in the market and partnerships with some of the largest advertisers in the region. Prior to Pinterest, Meredith was the VP of Content Solutions at Demand Media, where she ran the team that worked closely with brands to develop custom branded content to be distributed through owned and digital channels. Meredith previously held roles at Microsoft and MusicMatch. Meredith is originally from sunny San Diego and most of her personal time is spent dancing with her son Elliott, playing with slime with daughter Dylan and planning the next family adventure with husband Jason.
